100 Thieves (Americas)

Starting the list strong is America’s 100 Thieves. Their performance in the VCT Americas alone shows their drive to win the VCT Masters Shanghai beating the likes of G2 Esports. Led by Kelden ‘Boostio’ Pupello, 100 Thieves is a strong contender for the tournament's top spot if they can continue playing their found rhythm.

The last time the team competed on the international stage was in 2022 during the Valorant Champions where they were beaten by Fnatic. This was followed by a disappointing run at the VCT LOCK//IN Sao Paulo. Considering these, expect to see 100 Thieves eager to avenge those defeats and prove their mettle on the global stage.

The players competing for 100 Thieves are:

• Peter ‘Asuna’ Mazuryk

After winning the VCT Pacific Kickoff and narrowly missing out on the VCT Masters Madrid title, Gen.G has maintained their momentum this year. This was evident with their outstanding performance in the VCT Pacific Stage 1.

With their deep pool of talent, strategic versatility, and tournament experience, Gen.G will be a force to be reckoned with in Shanghai. As they prepare to face off against familiar foes like Paper Rex, the stage is set for Gen.G to claim the VCT Masters trophy.

What gives them an edge in the VCT Masters Shanghai is the return of Wang ‘Jinggg’ Jie to the roster. With this, they are making a strong push for their first international trophy. Expect to see amazing team synergy, lots of headshots, and their passion on the Shanghai stage as they go for gold.

Despite the team’s early exit at VCT Masters Madrid, they continue to impress with their top-tier team synergy and ability to clutch rounds.

Boasting a talented roster with players like Guo ‘Haodong’ Haodong and Wan ‘CHICHOO’ Shunzhi, expect the team to make amends for their run at the VCT Masters Madrid.

With the chance to select their first opponent in the playoffs, Fnatic will be looking to use their strategic prowess and experience to become the second team to claim two VCT Masters trophies. What has helped the team thrive even under high pressure is their team synergy and the individual skill of each of their players.

Here are the players competing for Fnatic:
