Who is the most talented CSGO squad in Flashpoint?
The current state of the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is still at a high level. With Flashpoint Season 3 still going on, let’s talk about the most talented squads in the event. Even if some players have moved on to Valorant, there is still a solid crop of talent in CSGO.
CSGO is a game that truly captures talented players. First-person shooters are always tough to learn but CS is the pioneer of the genre and it is the game where players have to learn the fundamentals. You have to take into account aim, game sense, communication, and utility usage. This is not a game that is just centred around aim because there are good aimers in the scene but that’s their only good quality.
Skill is not defined by the free CSGO skins that the players possess, it’s dependent on how the players perform in the game and how they mesh with the rest of the team. Let’s dive into Flashpoint teams that have a case to be known as the most talented squad in the event.
Ninjas in Pyjamas
When people took a look at Ninjas in Pyjamas before FP Season 3, they saw that this was an insanely good lineup due to the signing of former Astralis superstar Nicolai ‘dev1ce’ Reedtz. He took this team to another level as he’s arguably the best player in CSGO history.
His arrival was arguably the biggest move in CSGO history as dev1ce left Astralis which was a team where he won four Majors. It was also a team that he played for five years which is something that should be talked about. He left by moving to notable rival NiP which is a team that has emerged as a top squad again.
Apart from dev1ce, there are other star players in the lineup. Veteran Fredrik ‘REZ’ Sterner is one of the most consistent players on the scene. He’s not only a rifler but he can also run as a secondary AWPer. It is hard to control this team when playing against them with the likes of Hampus ‘hampus’ Poser and Nicolas 'Plopski' Gonzalez Zamora.
They have a wild-card star in Erik ‘ztr’ Gustafsson who is on trial from NiP’s young squad. he is a player who can heat up quickly which is something that is needed from any CSGO squad. NiP is a team that has immense potential to succeed against any team in the scene.
G2 Esports
With a player who was once hailed as the top player of the scene, G2 Esports is a threat to any team in the CSGO world. Of course, Nikola ‘NiKo’ Kovač is the star of the team as he is the top fragger of this team.
He is the newest player on the team as he just joined in October 2020 but he has raised the ceiling of this team to greater heights. He finally joined a team that had his brother Nemanja ‘huNter-’ Kovač which is something that people clamoured about for a long time. Now that they’re together, the fans were proven right as they are playing excellently on the same team.
Legendary AWPer Kenny ‘kennyS’ Schrub was once part of this team but he was benched in March 2021. That was a gutsy move from the team but it has worked out since his replacement Audrig ‘JaCKz’ Jug has turned into one of the most consistent players over the past few months.
François ‘AmaNEk’ ‘Delaunay and Nemanja ‘nexa’ Isaković are the two players who don’t get the same shine like the others given that they play supportive roles. They help NiKo, JaCKz and huNter- be the main fraggers and it has worked out so far in Flashpoint and other events.
Mousesports
As one of the youngest teams in the scene, Mousesports is a team that doesn’t bounce off the scouting report. However, they’ve proven that they are a strong team that is built around Robin ‘ropz’ Kool who is the only player who has played on the squad for the past four years. David ‘frozen’ Čerňanský is the only other veteran of this team as he joined mousesports in March 2019.
Ropz should be the player that you should look out for as this is the team that has emerged as one of the surprises of the CSGO scene. It should be known that ropz is one of the best players in the world as it’s hard to deny that he’s a talented player. Hopefully, people can realize that he’s such a big part of the team and their success over the years.
You should not overlook the other players on this team as Aurimas ‘Bymas’ Pipiras, Frederik ‘acoR’ Gyldstrand and in-game leader Christopher ‘dexter’ Nong are all valuable pieces to this team as they can keep playing at a high level consistently.
Astralis
You can never go wrong with having Astralis as a top team to watch. Since they still have their Major-winning core lineup sans dev1ce, you can be assured that Astralis is still a top team. Lukas ‘gla1ve’ Rossander is still arguably the best IGL in the scene and the consistency from Peter ‘dupreeh’ Rasmussen and Emil ‘Magisk’ Reif is a big part of their success.
Andreas ‘Xyp9x’ Højsleth is still the player who is the clutch king of this team. You can rely on him to make the big plays and he has the résumé to back that up. However, the wild card on this has to be Lucas ‘Bubzkji’ Andersen who is the newest player on the team. If he emerges as a top player, you can expect that this team will be strong as usual.
Flashpoint is the place for top teams
Flashpoint is an event that always houses the best teams. Apart from the ones listed here, there are even more talented teams out there that have emerged as top squads because of this event. You should keep watching this event as it will give you top-tier CS and give you a chance to see the team that you possibly use in your free CSGO skins betting as well. Good luck and have fun watching pro CSGO games!
