Dignitas Sign Two New Players to their CSGO Squad
When Dignitas decided to bench Cristopher ‘GeT_RiGhT’ Alesund and Richard ‘Xizt’ Landström, there were a lot of discussions about who would replace them. It was a shame that they were benched because they were playing with the majority of the legendary Ninjas in Pyjamas lineup which was arguably the best CSGO team of all time.
However, it was understandable that they made a decision because they have been outside of the discussion about who the best CSGO team is. They have recently signed two players in Ludvig ‘HEAP’ Alonso and Haris ‘H4RR3’ Hadzic. They will be starting immediately so they can go on a final push after a chaotic 2020.
HEAP is a young player who is still relatively inexperienced. Going to his statistics, he has only 18 maps played which were in the King of Nordic tournaments in 2018 and a couple of tournament qualifiers. He has been hailed as the ‘secret weapon’ of the squad, which can be a good thing especially since his inexperience can become a surprising asset because other squads will see him as an unknown quantity.
On the other hand, H4RR3 spent the last two years playing for Nordavind. He was actually teammates with AWPer Håkon ‘hallzerk’ Fjærli for a year. They were a part of the team that won the LOOT.BET Smack My Beach Cup. He has even talked about the honour of joining this team.
He said, ‘Getting to play with two legends like f0rest and friberg is unreal. Also getting to play with my former teammate hallzerk again makes me really excited. I’m going to give my all, and prove to the world that I belong to the top of competitive CS with my team’.
Dignitas will play their first official tournament when they participate in the second season of Flashpoint. It will be a massive tournament because it has a $1 million prize pool. It will start on the 10th of November and will run until the 6th of December.
It is exciting to look forward to the Dignitas squad because they still have two of the players from the legendary NiP squad in Adam ‘friberg’ Friberg and Patrik ‘f0rest’ Lindberg.
