NBK- finally makes the move to Valorant esports The wheels keep rolling between Counter-Strike: Global Offensive’s esports because French star Nathan ‘NBK-’ Schmitt has made the move to upstart game Valorant. He last played for OG but it looks like he’s moving to Riot Games’ landmark first-person shooter. After he was benched from OG’s main squad in February 2021, NBK- looked at the potential career moves that he could make. Since CSGO esports took a little bit of a dip recently, NBK- has followed in the footsteps of many former pros and they’ve turned to Valorant as their newest career path. NBK- was a favourite among free CSGO skins bettors because he was always a part of competitive teams. He is only the second CSGO Major winner to make the move to Valorant after Tyler ‘Skadoodle’ Latham did so in 2020. Now, NBK- will surely be a big name in the free-agent market in that scene since he’s one of the most respected names in esports. Play Crash on Gamdom NBK- was a large part of how French CSGO turned into one of the strongest scenes in esports. They had so many star players which are backed up by the two Majors that they won. The ‘Kingmaker’ is known as a leader who can get the job done. His most notable accolade has to be the wins at DreamHack Winter 2014 and DreamHack Cluj-Napoca 2015 which were Majors that he won with LDLC and EnVyUs. He released a video on his Twitter account detailing his decision to move away from CSGO for a new path. NBK- said, ‘I have done it all, from local LANs to winning Majors, grinded through the ranks, and sat on top of the world. I have lived the biggest disappointments and the best tournament wins. Counter-Strike gave me everything and I dedicated my life to it. But memories are made to stay in the past. It’s time for a change’. It will be fun to look forward to how NBK- will adjust to the move. There are other former CSGO pros in the scene and his former teammate Adil ‘ScreaM’ Benrlitom is one of the most popular stars in the game. If ScreaM can prove himself in that scene, you can expect that a free CSGO skins betting favourite like NBK- can step up as the newest star. Find out more info on CSGO at Gamdom Words: Pocholo Magsino
