FunPlus Phoenix Makes CSGO Return
FPX’s return to action in CSGO is set to be one of the best comebacks as they now aim to make a run in 2021.
FunPlus Phoenix Makes CSGO Return
FunPlus Phoenix staged its big return in the CSGO scene after fixing up a whole new roster composed of former members from GODSENT. The team is now set to come up with a strong run in the 2021 season with the hopes of building up a pace of their own and winning big.
The GODSENT roster was set to be acquired by a major eSports team only to come up as rebranded in FPX. This means that there would be a new contender in the making and could soon stand as one of the best teams in the fold.
The team is now composed of Jesse ‘zehN’ Linjala, Martin ‘STYKO’ Styk, Pavle ‘maden’ Boskovic and Asger ‘farlig’ Jensen. The team is led by Chris ‘chrisJ’ de Jong and Jonathan ‘Devilwalk’ Lundberg serves as their coach.
While the team looks to be a big contender soon, chrisJ is only on loan from mousesports. He occupies the final slot for the team and could prove to be a strong leader in the making should FPX come up with a successful run in 2021.
The team has been rumoured to join the DreamHack January 2021 tournament. This means that they are already working on taking a step ahead in the game with the hopes of moving to the upper echelon of the CSGO rankings. They could be the best CSGO team in no time.
FPX is composed of players hailing from different countries. This makes the team one of the mixed squads in the CSGO community. This should affect their chances of winning as they have gained experience over the past few years.
The team comes back after their FLASHPOINT disaster. FPX general manager Petar ‘peca’ Marjo claimed that the team is in talks with more teams through the 2020 season. It took some time before they landed a deal with GODSENT late in December and formed what could be the best CSGO team.
‘After months of deep talks, we are finally proud to present our new CSGO roster’, peca said. ‘We truly believe that we will accomplish our goals in 2021’.
With a new team at the ready, CSGO can expect more action in the coming tournaments. It seems that FPX has a bright shot at getting their chances locked in the game soon enough.
