CSGO has seen so many players in the past few years, and their weapons of choice mattered a lot, especially from the pros.. This is why it is very easy to expect most people to take their pick based on what the best players use in their winning games.
There are so many weapons to choose from when it comes to playing CSGO. However, not all weapons can be found on the same side. There are guns that are exclusive to the Terrorists and vice versa for the Counter-Terrorists. These can be acquired upon taking out other players who carry these certain guns.
Not all weapons were created the same way, and a gun’s efficiency does not even live up to its price point sometimes. Some say that the better the weapon, the higher the chances of winning. That depends on who uses it, and this is why weapons and skills work together to win a game.
Unlike free CSGO skins, weapons can be acquired every round, and they cost in-game money to get. Few games have followed the pattern of CSGO’s economy-based system. Players get money each round depending on how well they play, and they can spend it on many items to help them win.
Money can be spent on guns, armour, grenades, shields and so on. However, players have to save up their cash and pick a certain weapon that they would love to use to help their teams win. With so many options out there, it is sometimes hard to pick one, but looking at what the pro players use the most could help players satisfy their wants.
SG 553
The SG was a former meta weapon that was favoured even in the early days of CSGO. The Terrorist exclusive weapon was nerfed recently and was simply known as an AK with a scope. Commonly known as Krieg, it is great at holding certain angles and is a beast in post-plant games.
It is also known to be a respectable gun to have simply because it provided the needed range while not risking the damage dealt to others. Since its nerfing, it remained as an excellent weapon to have in certain games especially in matchmaking.
AUG
Another Terrorist exclusive, the AUG used to be one of the best weapons available to the faction. It remains impressive with its niche, despite losing its one-shot kill ability. The recoil pattern made it easier to use and favourable for most starting players.
The rifle trades ease for killing power. While it is not considered cheap to get, it can still turn the tide of war for most players.
Desert Eagle
More commonly known as Deagle, this sidearm weapon is very capable of killing enemies in an instant. As a pistol, it is still cheap but powerful enough to make pros usually get it in the early rounds.
While it has high recoil, getting a good bead at other players means a big kill right away. Some pros use it to win rounds alone. Missing shots with this bad boy and players will have no way to defend themselves once it starts to reload.
This pistol rewards skilled players by allowing them to win while dealing huge amounts of damage right away.
M4A1/M4A4
The M4A1-S is the default best weapon for the Counter-Terrorists. This weapon has a silenced option which can be favourable for players who prefer to stalk their opponents. Players who look to practice fast clicks can try out this weapon simply because it works well in medium ranges.
Due to its better recoil, the M4A1-S stands as a great weapon that can be used to take out enemies with extreme prejudice since it deals big damage and a much better recoil rate as well.
The M4A4 is a much more dangerous weapon to wield. This one can last in long-range firefights, and can even wipe a rushing team in a single mag. This rifle is one of the best guns to wipe out an entire squad while also keeping a fair job in the recoil department.
AWP
The AWP is a generational rifle. This sniper is the only weapon that can deal huge damage on any part of the body and a high chance of one-shots. This is very expensive, but it is also worth every penny since it has a great amount of damage.
Every team in CSGO has an AWP user, and the range it gives is very spectacular. Facing a player who has an AWP from long range is an automatic death sentence.
While it offers no help to the unscoped accuracy, lucky players can still get a kill when at close range. Enemy players mostly make it a priority to take out the AWPers first because they pose a big threat to most rounds.
AK-47
Players from both factions want it. This rifle is the best of both worlds. A headshot can take out an opponent instantly even if they have armour. AK users can even take out players who use the AWP since it has a fair range as well.
Aside from the many free CSGO skins available to the rifle, the AK works like a charm for most players.
The AK is one of the best advantages that the Terrorists have over the other faction. There is more to expect from users with this weapon as it projects a much bigger use rate in the game. It is on the average price, but it is also one of the best weapons that can be used to win a round in a quick snap.
It doesn’t matter who has the bigger stick, but it matters a lot more who’s swinging it. This is why a great weapon is nothing if the user does not know how to wield it to its highest potential. One can expect players to practice with these weapons since they are always considered as favourites in the game.
CSGO continues to put in more updates, and there are more weapons to come as well. However, these classics remain as the heavy favourites and it will take time to replace them.
