Honda set to make debut with FURIA

Lucas ‘honda’ Cano is finally making his debut with FURIA after finally coming back to the starting lineup for the squad. The team will play in the coming Elisha Invitational Summer playoffs. This is the chance for honda to step up and shine on the big stage once more.

FURIA made a huge move to join in on the fun for the coming contest that has a prize pool of $100,000. They are set to enter the quarter finals along with three other teams which will be named in the coming weeks. This is a huge chance for honda to prove himself.

The EIS playoffs have a single bracket - a big change among many other CSGO tourneys. It has a best of three matches and will run from June 30 to July 4. Teams such as ENCE, Entropiq and SAW are all set to attend the Swiss stage. This is a chance for players to feature their free CSGO skins as well.

The EIS marks the first contest FURIA will join in after Paytyn ‘junior’ Johnson’s call to take a break and move to the bench last June 3. Honda was sitting at the bench prior to that and has only played in two tourneys for FURIA in early 2021.

Honda is now back into the starting lineup. He will be the team’s official fifth star for now at the very least. He is still set to be checked by head coach Nicholas ‘guerri’ Nogueira.

The star had a tough time when he filled in for Andrei ‘arT’ Piovezan and the team back in the BLAST Premier Global Final and cs_summit seven. Honda averaged a 0.84 rating in 16 maps played so far.

Aside from playing at the EIS playoffs, FURIA is also set to attend the $1 million IEM Cologne, which is set to be played between July 8 to 18. While there are no free CSGO skins to win in this one, this is a chance for honda to prove his worth as one of the best stars FURIA can rely on.

Honda will need to step up in his games and prove he deserves his spot with the team in the coming games. He must not let the chance slip past him.
