Heroic hopes to repeat in ESL One Cologne

After winning big in the 2020 edition, Team Heroic is hoping to come up with another impressive run at the ESL One Cologne in 2021. After all, there would be a lot of teams who are going to play harder after missing out a lot of chances in 2020’s halted season due to the pandemic.

With a lot of pressure to win once more, Team Heroic could actually be in a tougher spot now more than ever. There are still a few months left for the team to build up their pace and eventually gain a fine momentum for the said tournament. After all, they would want to defend their title as well.

The ESL One Cologne 2021 is set to begin on July 6th and will end by July 18. With 24 teams set to enter the fray for one title, that only means that Team Heroic will need to work better if they want to extend their reign in the tournament. The $1,000,000 prize pool would prove to be a very great win for any team, and Heroic clearly has the best shot of taking it home.

Play Crash and get the best chances of winning

The map pool includes Dust2 at the front, followed by Mirage, Inferno, Nuke, Train, Overpass, and Vertigo. Heroic played only three maps against Team Vitality to finish off the big campaign. The team dominated Mirage, Inferno, and Nuke with 16 points in all maps and that means that they would still have fair chances to do the same again.

In the previous edition, Heroic delivered a fine win over the likes of Complexity, G2 Esports before taking down Vitality with a clean sweep. If they can come up with the same finish, then it is going to be a fine year for the team.

Heroic can actually prove themselves better with a repeat. After all, they are a top-five team, and that means that the team can do more and to beat the rest ahead of them. But they have to be very careful as the best CSGO team could even fall down if they get too confident in the long run. That is a big task that the team will have to complete.
