Evil Geniuses Set to Play in BLAST Premier Fall Series

The Evil Geniuses are ready to rock Europe once more as they are getting hyped to play in the BLAST Premier Fall Series by the end of the month and hope to gain some momentum as well. They are already going for practice games this time in hopes of winning the big tournament.

They are the first team to ever travel for Europe in preparation for the tournament. Some of the best CSGO teams such as Team Liquid, MIBR and 100 Thieves - which are all BLAST partners - are yet to confirm that they are coming as well. That just means that EG will have a head start compared to those other teams.

It was already known that the best teams hailing from North America and Europe are set to join the tournament, and that just means that the teams coming from the West will have to play away from home for now. They are likely to face each other in the closing months of the year as well.

That means that they are going to get the BLAST Series as a practice for the big clash by December. The Evil Geniuses are not looking to back down in the game, and that says a lot about the team’s future heading into the coming years.

There are rumours that CSGO is already dying, and it seems that the few remaining teams are the ones who are going to save the sport. The big tournaments are going to be the only way for them to get the job done and make the game popular more than ever.

‘There are few NA teams now. NA as a whole is not popular at all. You have EG, you have Complexity, you have Liquid — that’s it. The rest is just like EG’, Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek said. ‘CS is undeniably dying, and yet players are still getting paid like $40,000 a month. 30, 40 grand. I don’t understand where this money is coming from and how it’s still pumping’.

It seems that the Evil Geniuses will play a big role in the game’s future. It would be up to them to ensure if there is another year for the sport.
