A slot tournament can come in different forms but the gist is that it’s a promotion in an online casino where players can partake in. How to participate

Online casinos have different ways of presenting their slot tournaments. In most cases, they are found on the promotions page together with other offers like welcome or deposit bonuses. Other times, they have their own dedicated pages and there are multiple types of competitions for players to choose from. Regardless of the case, you will need to follow the following steps:

You need to have an account

Just like playing any Gamdom games, you will need to make an account. It’s how the casino tournament leaderboard can recognise you and track your progress. Sign up using an existing account like Google or Steam or make a new one by providing your preferred login information. Once that’s settled, go to the tournament page and read the description thoroughly.

Browse the tournament rules

The tournament rules determine how your progress is going to be tracked. It’s usually indicated in the competition title and quick description but reading through the full set of rules can help. They will also indicate limitations to the tournament like which games count towards your progress or if there’s a title that gives more reward. The terms and conditions apply to every participant, including VIP members.

See the winning condition and try to meet it

Online slot tournaments have a time limit, usually lasting for a full week 24/7 and the winner is determined by the leaderboard at the end of it. How you climb the rankings depends on the criteria provided. Here are some examples of what you’ll see but online casinos aren’t typically limited to them so read the terms and conditions before you start:

• Most amount spent in bets
• Most number of bets made
• Biggest total amount of winnings earned
• Highest net loss total
• Most frequent hit by percentage

As with all casino promotions, slot tournaments also come with a betting requirement. A wager only counts if it’s above the minimum indicated in the promotion. If the conditions in the slot machine tournaments suit you, then opt in to join the game. Start immediately and play at your own pace to win the competition.

How to win a slot tournament

Winning in a slot tournament is tough because everyone is bringing their A-game when there’s real money on the line. Not to mention that you have to assume other participants have a bigger spending power than you do. You’d be surprised how many
millionaires play at top-tier Bitcoin casinos like Gamdom. Nevertheless, there are ways to improve your leaderboard performance. Here are the top three tips you can take to heart but you can be more creative if you wish.

Quick spins is the key

No matter what the rules of the casino slot tournaments are, spinning reels as quickly as you can helps rake up as many leaderboard points as possible. Make a big deposit, claim a large bonus, and set your wager per bet above the tournament’s minimum then start spamming the spin button. Don’t forget that some games have a turbo feature where the results are revealed instantly rather than taking a few seconds showing off the reels’ rolling animation. If the game you’re playing has this, then you can set the game in auto-play.

Bet on maximum wager depending on the rules

If the tournament you’re trying to complete is about who has the most wins or losses, then betting on max wager is ideal. This slots tournament strategy is for high rollers only who have a big budget and an even bigger bonus to claim for their account. If you’re a VIP then use all the advantages the casino gives you to win the tournament. These are your investment for what’s pretty much a guaranteed return in profits. Even if you fail to reach the top, the prize above the leaderboard cutoff will still be a sweet addition to your winnings from the spins you’ve made.

Don’t let your eyes off the screen until it’s over

Remember to take breaks throughout the week of the tournament. Stay hydrated, eat well, exercise, and tend to other commitments. However, give it your best shot when you’re in the final day. Make a new deposit, claim another bonus, then start spinning reels like crazy. Don’t let up until the casino announces the end of the competition.

Even if you are lagging behind a few players, there’s a chance that one of them will stop and you’ll take over. Factors include feeling content that they’re on the lead or running out of funds in their account balance. Slot tournaments are as much a game of chance as they are a game of dedication and luck comes when preparation meets opportunity.

Remember, only play in your best condition

Any kind of tournament can be intense. That’s why you need to take breaks in between sessions to stay in your peak condition. Don’t underestimate slot games because it can be as mentally taxing as any electronic games like esports. Feeling dizzy or eyes hurting can be all it takes to make a mistake. Limit your sessions to only a few hours at a time then sleep or eat well before coming back. Health is wealth and it’s your best investment to win slot tournaments.
