Betting on Rainbow Six Siege Games

Rainbow Six Siege is one of the best online games that is played by a lot of eSports players all over the world. The online tactical shooter is very much alive in many gamers as it continues to rise as one of the intense shooters that eSports has embraced over the past few years.

Known more as Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, this game was developed and released by Ubisoft Montreal back in 2015. Over the years, it has gained massive popularity among many gamers as it tweaked the concept of hostage assaults and many other elements that work the same way in CSGO.

Although a little bit different, what set the game apart from the Valve shooter is the lack of free CSGO skins. Skins and stickers are the game’s biggest win from Rainbow Six. Still, both games shared a lot of similarities especially with the gameplay and user interface as well.

The game puts a lot of emphasis on winning games through cooperation and teamwork. Each player assumes a role of an attacker or defender depending on the mode selected. Players can choose from rescuing a hostage, defusing a bomb, and taking control of an objective within a room.

The title has no campaign but has a series of short offline missions that are named ‘situations’ which can be played solo. These missions have a loose narrative and mostly focus on new soldiers getting ready for a future battle with the ‘White Masks’ - a terror group that poses a threat to global security.

Siege was an entry in the Rainbow Six series. It followed Patriots which has a larger focus on narrative. When the latter was cancelled due to technical problems, Ubisoft went on to reboot the series and almost borrowed the same standard as CSGO.

The game was made to let the players play as the top counter-terror operatives around the world. The team actually consulted actual units and made some of the scenarios in the game based on real events such as the 1980 Iranian Embassy siege.

Siege received a lot of positive feedback from critics. A lot of them praised the game’s intense multiplayer and reliance on tactics. The lack of content was not much of a problem but then Ubisoft responded by adding some packs to the game that added certain features.

Ubisoft went on to partner with ESL to make it an eSports game. By December 2020, the game has already passed the mark of 70 million players registered across many platforms all over the world.

With the eSports part of it alive, Siege has become one of the heavy favourites for many punters as well, and this says a lot about the way it is received by the masses. This says a lot about the game’s future as one of the top eSports games in the coming years. Who knows? It might even change the landscape of the betting scene and replace CSGO at the top.

Rainbow Six’s eSports Industry

Ubisoft originally made this game an eSports game. The company made a meeting with David Hiltscher - ESL’s vice president in late 2013 to talk about the game as a platform for a new eSports community. ESL helped out in checking the features of the game and made it well-balanced to help the developer ensure that it is suitable for competitive play.

Rainbow Six later released a lot of new operators in the game to give a variety for players. ESL went on to announce the Rainbow Six Pro League, which is a global tourney that allowed users who play from Windows and Xbox One to join. The competition was held at the Intel Extreme Masters on March 4, 2016.

PENTA Sports became the first champion of the Rainbow Six Pro League after beating GiFu in the final back in May 2016.

Later in 2017, the Pro League Year Two made its return but only Windows users will be allowed to join. Ubisoft also held some key tourneys in 2017 and 2018 where top teams played for a huge prize pool. The 2018 Tourney brought in a total of 321,000 viewers on Twitch, marking the biggest audience that the sport had at that time.

Siege has seen a lot of success, and both Nathan Larence and Richie Shoemaker from Red Bull and Eurogame said that the game can clearly dethrone CS in the long run. It will still take some years before Siege can actually take over and beat the Valve shooter as well.

The Six Invitational 2020 had the highest prize pool with a total of $3,000,000 split among 16 teams. The North American team Spacestation Gaming took home the lion’s share of $1,000,000. The tourney also added huge changes to both the game itself and the competitive scene.

Some changes included the new point system and the end of Pro League rankings. These changes have been compared to the same way that both Dota 2 and League of Legends have done well in the past few years.

Siege is one of the best shooters to ever embrace the eSports scene. While it may take some time before it can actually take over CS as the top shooter, it cannot be denied that Siege is on the way to doing so. It might even be able to beat Valorant for being a classic game that relates to real life.

At the end of the day, Siege is slated to be the next big shooter king in the eSports industry. One can say that betting will surely come into play on this stage as it continues to grow bigger and better. Ubisoft is not letting the chance slip past them when it comes to the eSports title, so they are very eager to improve this one in the long run.

As the years pass by, Siege continues to get regular content from Ubi, meaning that the fight still goes on to make it the best shooter game in all of eSports.

Betting on Rainbow Six Siege

Rainbow Six works the same way as CSGO, so there’s nothing new when it comes to placing wagers on this game. While there are no free CSGO skins to win, this game is still an interesting one to wager on.

Practice makes perfect, and if you are hoping to get some of the best wagers in Rainbow Six without even knowing the game at the very least, then you are in trouble. In most cases, a lot of sites offer the outright winners from series and events. Other bets include over/under the number of maps, the correct score for each series and even more special markets.

Special markets have a much bigger reward, but it also needs more attention to players in the game as well. Some bookies list these special markets and they tend to focus more on individual stats such as first kills or highest KDR points in a single match or map.

Sure, one can be lucky enough in betting, but that cannot be relied upon most of the time. If you are getting serious about winning wagers on Rainbow Six, then you have to spend some time knowing a little about the game and the players.

The best way to learn is to play the game. This will surely help you know more about the format, tactics and maps. There is even a slight focus on the abilities that each operator has when it comes to their roles in the game. If you are not much of a big gamer, then you can always opt to watch gameplay videos on Twitch or even YouTube.

VCKnowing which players and teams are the best can help you get a better look at your R6 odds. It is also not advised to count out the underdog. There are so many times in which a lowly team gets to come up with a shocking win over the big teams in the league.

No one can always predict it the right way, but a lucky player can always get a bigger payout than expected. This is why research is always important when it comes to placing wagers in R6 games.

Just like any other sport, there will always be a team on the lower side taking the role of the underdog. It is the nature of the competition, but a seasoned punter will always pick his chance to bet on the underdog to pull a huge upset and take home a lot of winnings.

For starters, the safest way to bet on R6 games would be to at least try out the outright winner markets. These markets are the easiest ones to win in any sport, so you always have the choice of playing it safe to get the most of your bets.

Once you are already a regular in betting, you can opt to try out some other markets to spice up your betting. Just always take note that the riskier it is, the higher the rewards.

There are a lot of matches on any given day whenever a tourney is in play. That is why you should make use of the schedule format and stack up some good bets to make use of the best odds available.

If you are able to get some good results, make sure to keep it going because you are having a great pace in betting, and that often yields bigger results.

There is a bigger world of R6 betting out there and if you are eager to seize the day, then there is no time to waste when it comes to betting as you can get the best rewards in no time. The game is a busy one with a lot of tourneys in play, so you won’t run out of the best bets.
